Orion Grill

Wound up coming here for a late brunch today. Had the country Benedict. It was delicious! The eggs were perfectly poached and runny. I didn't care for the cheese, and will probably ask for it without next time, but that's personal preference. Amie was a hilarious server too- took good care of us and made me feel at home. Neurodivergent heads up: it is echoey and loud in here. Very bright lighting and the windows. As a note, fountain soda is quite pricey here.

Decided to stop in and see why this place is so busy every time we pass. Arrived and was originally given the lunch/dinner menu. If you want breakfast, sometimes you have to request the breakfast menu. Appears they have their liquor license, so we decided to start with a couple of bloody Marys that we requested spicy, they were plenty spicy haha. We ordered a breakfast burrito and an omelette. Both entrees were fulfilling, but neither of them were the best breakfast burrito or omelette we've ever had. Hashbrowns could have been a bit crispier. Maybe next time we'll try a sweeter breakfast order, as those seemed to be popular. The restaurant has a very nice updated decor, with an inviting open indoor space, bar seating, outdoor garage door and outside seating.

We have eaten here several times and never had a bad experience. Whether you go for their brunch (which ended at 3pm when we went, so plenty of time for us slower folk) or for their non-breakfast fair, you'll be able to enjoy fresh and delicious dishes featuring quality ingredients and a well designed flavor profile. I cannot compliment the chef who designed these dishes enough - you know your craft well. A good amount of their offerings are gluten free, which we really appreciated as well. Serving sizes are good and match the price. Pictured is the strawberry stuffed French toast and avocado toast (my favorite & a strong recommendation.) We've also enjoyed their Mediterranean bowl and chicken Cesar salad. If you are in the area, want to meet up with friends, or simply want a clean and tasty dinner we highly suggest stopping here.

We stop in for breakfast/lunch atleast once a week! We have yet to be disappointed. Saturdays and Sundays are overly busy to be expected but the staff does an amazing job to accommodate everyone in a timely and professional manner. My favorite is the pineapple yogurt boat 😋 everything is fresh & delicious! Prices are worth it too!

A nice breakfast and lunch joint Lake Orion. Came for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was really busy but they had a lot of staff so they kept everything moving. We didn't have to wait long for a table, service, or the food to come out. Our server and all the staff were very friendly. The food was really good especially for how fast they were able to get it to us. I used to come here all the time when it was Iris but this is my first experience now that they're Lake Orion grill. Will definitely be coming back from time to time it was great. Update. They are closed all the dang time. Highly recommended.

This is a hidden gem! Not your typical "family restaurant " in the sense that the decor is warm, gorgeous and trendy. The food is SO SO good! My husband and I are picky about the quality of our food. Everything we've had here has been very tasty! The chicken is always very tender with no funny, chewy pieces. I had a gyro pita last time and the meat was full of flavor and very tender. Tonight I had the chicken stir fry...again, super delicious, loaded with veggies and some juicy pineapple pieces. It was a huge serving so I have a full lunch tomorrow too! Chicken pot pie was also great with lots of fresh vegetables cooked inside. Today, I also tried the stuffed pepper soup. YUM!!! So much flavor, tender beef, and super hearty. That soup is a meal in itself and I HIGHLY recommend it. You can tell the dishes are made with fresh, high quality ingredients. Last but definitely not least is the staff! Everyone has always been very professional, attentive and very nice! Even the young man clearing tables chased me out to my car to give me the leftovers I forgot on the table (I hate it when I do that) . If you haven't checked out Orion Grill yet, you're totally missing out.

Went here for lunch on a recommendation of a friend. Chicken Greek salad was exceptional. It’s hard right now to find a salad with super fresh greens all around. Chicken was not over salted like some of the marinated chicken is. Dressing was good - the pink kind - which is what my daughter calls it and we love the best. Husband’s burger was like a bar burger and served on a good bun. He had tots and they were also good. No soft surfaces so it was a little echoey and noisy but we’d definitely go there again.

Happened on chance to stop in at this Gem. Resturants by the mall were 1hr 1/2 wait, family of 5 starving & tired, kids at their max. Was a great relief to walk into such a warm and welcoming environment. The place looked upscale and modern but the prices were cheaper than expected. Definitely a pleasant surprise. Food was delicious and definitely will be coming again in the future.
